Overview of the season: Bright, vivid, bold color. Sheer, feminine and sensual looks.
1. Pretty , Colorful Pastels

Apply a wash of diluted or full strength color on eyes and lips in mauve, pink, peach, lime and blue to create a playful, feminine look. Apply sheer lip glosses to enhance and not compete with your eye look to balance the face.
2. High Impact Lips

Red-orange is the “it” lip color this season. Make a statement by pairing this hot color in a matte or gloss formula with a barely there makeup look with minimum definition.
3. Dusty, Muted Eye Shadows

This is a great way to create a soft smoky eye by using shimmery or matte gray, brown or plum shadows. Apply color all over the eyelids and smudge underneath, team with dark, full lashes.
4. Dark, Lush Lashes

Create thick, bold lashes by applying several layers of black or dark brown volume building mascara. An option is to apply false lashes to the top or bottom of eyes.
5. Sun-kissed Skin

To create a realistic bronzed look without the actual sun, dust a semi-matte powder bronzer in a golden shade only on the temples, cheeks and chin. An option is to apply a golden shimmery liquid or powder bronzer only to the top of the cheekbones and higher planes of the nose and forehead to reflect light.
6. Barely There Makeup

This makes the skin look youthful and very fresh. It’s perfect for all of the washes of bright and muted colors this season. Achieve this look by applying a minimal amount of foundation to skin and blending it out so your natural skin shows through.
Unique Fragrance Gift Ideas

Ola!
While shopping for gifts this holiday season, I ran across an alternative to buying bottled perfumes – solids. These are so cool because you get to wear a great piece of jewelry that houses your favorite scent. They are great for quick fragrance touch ups when you’re on the go. Also, when the product is gone you still have the jewelry to wear. Instead of giving I may have to throw out a few hints that I want one for myself!
Shadow Shields
When applying eye makeup, a common problem that occurs is the excess makeup that falls below the eye onto the cheek! When swept away, you are left with major "raccoon eyes!" Shadow Shields prevent that!
Shadow Shields are half moon shaped adhesives that are placed under the eye before applying eye makeup. Any excess product that falls is caught by the shields, leaving you with clean under eyes!!
Shadow Shields are also ideal for lash tinting and extensions and airbrush.
Comes in a box of 50 Shadow Shields. Click here to purchase!

As we watch famous celebrities such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and others walk down the red carpet, we can't help but see they have the most amazing eyes. They have long, lush lashes we can't help but want for ourselves. For those with money the cost isn't a problem, for those of us with a budget, getting eyelash extensions may not be cost effective to have the look and keep it maintain. For example the most beautiful Beyonce has a new full set at $500 every three months but they are costing her $120 per month upkeep. Lose one eyelash and that's $20 all by its self. Yes, that's the truth per eyelash can run you about $20.00 each. What is it about eyelash extensions that has them become one of the latest craze?
